Purging the Crazies . . .
Here's a look at what is happening in the Republican party in the wake of the election:

Best for the Economy?
Historically, the Democrats have been best for the economy:

Republican leaders on Romney . . .
Here's what other Republican leaders have to say on Romney's total lack of integrity:
Regarding taxes and deficits . . .
Here's an interesting look at the relationship between taxes and budget deficits, written by a conservative economist:

Romney in a word . . .
Hypocrite - one who professes beliefs, feelings, or virtues that one does not hold or possess; falseness.
Trickle-down economics, Part II
The Congressional Research Service also finds that trickle-down economics doesn't work, or at least tries to:

Weasel wording . . .
Read Romney's statement on FEMA carefully:
"As president, I will ensure FEMA has the funding it
needs to fulfill its mission, while directing maximum resources to the first
responders who work tirelessly to help those in need, because states and
localities are in the best position to get aid to the individuals and
communities affected by natural disasters."
It sounds to me as though he still intends to shift most of the responsibility to the states and cut funding
for FEMA way back, even if he doesn't eliminate it entirely.
